Meet the couple, Tamkin and Ben what a fun couple to work with. We had a blast shooting all their events. We did their engagement shoot, mehndi and wedding. Locations for all 3 events were different and provided us the opportunity to capture thousands of images. Tamkin also took advantage of the photo booth service Lasting Memories offers. The pictures of the guests were taken and printed within minutes and presented in a customised folder with their names and date on the back. Recently our studio upgraded to new Canon’s and wow what a difference, the new camera’s could not have come at a better time. Hope you enjoy the images, and please feel free to leave a comment.

As the style of photography has changed, so has the style of engagement photo sessions. More couples want to do their engagement shoots on location. Cities like Chicago offering countless places to take pictures, the most common request ends up being in downtown. Neal and Chitali, choose downtown for there engagements shoot. Mike spent almost 3 hours and was able to capture many nice photographs. For those not familiar, engagement shoots are becoming more popular for many reasons. First, the couple and the photographer get comfortable with each other before the actuall wedding day. Second, the pace of an engagement shoot is casual, and not rushed like on wedding day. It gives the couple and the photographer time to take really nice pictures in many different settings, capturing a wide variety of moods. At Lasting Memories we believe that, spending time before the wedding day with couple is a big asset for both the couple and the photographer.
